In 1992 I had just sold my 1948 panhead to a German. I had the 48 for 17 years and he paid me enough to build an all Custom motorcycle. I rebuilt it in 2000 and painted it Ferrari red. In 2005 I was buying a house and sold the bike. Fast forward to November last year. I got a call and it was from the guy I sold it to. He offered to sell it back to me. He had only rode it 50 miles and stored it for 17 of the 19 years. My brother and I drove to North Carolina and picked it up. The title was still in MY name.
