I finally packed up Lucky Town. it was a good smokeout rally. Got to see some old friends and got to make some new ones. Speaking of, I wouldn’t be able to do this without having such good friends. I want to thank each and everyone of you for all the love and respect I get and have for each of you… this ride is something I have to do every year to try and clear my mind. so on that note, I might be real low on funds but I’m ready to go ride through the mountains and play in the waterfalls. not sure where I’m going but I am sure I’m going to have fun getting there.

Riding the back roads and getting lost is something I’ve needed.. no internet and no phone has been nice… I just stopped in Black bear country kitchen in little town for some good food and let people know I’m still alive…

Well it looks like there’s a big storm riding through. I might postpone my trip to Virginia and stick around this area. Definitely could be in worse places. So it looks like I’ll be here another day or two then heading back south. I’m going to try to make it into New Orleans for the weekend. I’ll be running to the Panhandle then st. Pete and back home. Sorry about my luck..

So it turns out I’m an asshole no matter what state I’m in. sorry to let everyone down about the Iron Butt run. I’ve been sitting on the side of I-40 for about an hour and watching cars go by and looking at these mountains. And due to some unexpected issues. I decided I’m going to head the other way and head to New Orleans 712 miles from where I’m at.

So I got New Orleans about an hour ago. I’m just admiring all these nice tall narrow Crooked Houses .. I’m about to get a shower and head to the French Quarter… May the good times roll. I for some reason have these two little square pieces of paper that makes me believe there just might be a big scene reenacted from Easy Rider….
