Well, for a change, Old Man Weather cooperated and brought us a beautiful day for the 2023 Tanner Jam, held again at H & D Roadhouse, out on Merritt Island, FL. The Benefit Poker Run ended there, and the cash prize for that was donated back as were ALL the cash prizes won in various events during the day….a big THANKS to all involved. Plenty of food available from H&D as well as a Food van parked out back. Also, live music all day by several local groups…SORRY….I failed to get the names, BUT, they were very entertaining. Tanner, who is now 17 yrs. old, says he feels pretty good most of the time, but still needs constant care…he suffers with Cystic Fibrosis, and all the monies received will go to helping with his care as well as research. It was a very pleasant event, with a large crowd and lots of items for sale for the cause.
