ANIMAL…..A PATCH BURNING by Miserable George

January 16, 2021 was a sad day…it was the day that the Warlock MC burned yet another patch of a departed Brother…this time, Animal…taken from us in a motorcycle accident. But, as they say…he died doing what he loved.

The Melbourne Mob  hosted what I believe was their biggest crowd ever for the burning of a huge cross, crested with Animal’s patch. It being a very chilly evening, the fire DID provide some much needed warmth. Brothers attended from far and wide, despite the weather. There was a lot of fabulous food and drink, and recorded music, thanks to our friend, Chuckles.

Brothers, friends, all you people who ride…please be careful out there, and, GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

This month they had a prize for the best bike there! $250 went to Danielle for her ‘92 teal and cream beauty… A gift from her Daddy, may he RIP.

We look forward to seeing a bigger crowd next month! It will be close to my birthday! We will come up with something special for Valentine’s Day!…

WARLOCKS of BREVARD…38th. Anniversary

Thirty-eight years may not sound like too large a number, however, for some of us, that’s over half a lifetime, and for this span of time, the Warlocks of Brevard have existed. They have progressed from a small clubhouse in the West Cocoa area, to a huge complex near downtown Cocoa, on SR 520, and it was here that they, along with many of their friends gathered on Jan. 9, 2021 to celebrate. It was a COLD night, but a fire outside near the cooking area made it a bit more bearable, while inside, hot food and cold drinks hit the spot!! As with every organization, there were sad times along with the happy ones, but the club along with their friends, perciviered and progressed to where they are today. Their several major events during the year provide entertainment and times for nostalgia for their many friends…myself included. Meeting newer members, and remembering those departed…all part of the “plan”…It’s been an enlightening 38 years, and OSB Magazine wishes the WARLOCKS of Brevard all the best in the coming years.

A BENEFIT FOR KNUCKLES…WMC by Miserable George and Valgal

We all hope that it will never happen to us, but, if it does, it’s nice to know that you can depend on Brothers and friends for help. On a drizzly Saturday evening, Dec. 19, 2020, just such a crowd of Brothers and friends gathered at the Warlock Clubhouse in Cocoa, Fl. to lend a much needed hand to Brother Knuckles. There was good food, pretty ladies, cold drinks, piped in music, and a mystery raffle prize. I never did find out what that prize was!!! I’m hoping that no one had a wet ride home!!! All the best to Brother Knuckles….

Wrecking Crew Chili Cook-Off by Miserable George

With the weather being “iffy”, their street blocked off, and me…a stranger to the area, AND, it was dark on that Dec. 12, 2020, all combined, I was lucky to find the Wrecking Crew CH….BUT…I found it…!!! Nice crowd was already there sampling the chili creations of 9 different cooks, and I joined right in. I sampled 5 different pots, made my choice, and voted! The winners were awarded cash, and medallion type trophies, plus, the #1 winner received a neat model privy. Hey, after eating all that chili….well….you figure it out!!! I believe this will be an annual event, and I’m glad, because I LOVE CHILI…!!!   My thanks goes out to the Wrecking Crew  MC for their hospitality. Keep yer eyes peeled for other up-coming events…

National Veterans Homeless Support by Miserable George

It was when a group realized how sad the holiday season could actually be for homeless veterans, that the NVHS was formed. Events such as today’s gathering at American Legion Post #1, just north of Titusville, Fl., helped to raise some of the funds needed to provide for these veterans.  There was a Poker Run, which ended at Post#1, where there was hot food  waiting, plus live entertainment by the TMI (Twisted Minds Inc.) Band. Also on the agenda, were raffles and an auction, which featured some pretty valuable merchandise, plus a 50/50. From what I could see, the sizable crowd was really enjoying themselves, while providing for the homeless vets. Post #1 provides its guests with a huge pavilion, plus a bar and tables, both inside and out…all this plus beautiful weather accounted for the large crowd. Want a fun day…? Keep your eyes peeled for the next event at Post #1…tell ‘em Old School Biker Magazine sent ya…
