H&D Roadhouse & Old School Biker Magazine’s 2017 Double Anniversary Party

April 15, 2017…6 years for Harry and Deb at the Roadhouse, and starting OSB’s third year.

The weather was absolutely fantastic…perfect day to ride. The crowd trickled in during the course of the afternoon, and, in no time at all, the place was jumpin’…!!

A good live band in the afternoon to warm things up, THEN, the feature band…DRIVEN…wowed the gang in the evening hours.

As always, good food was had in abundance, the bar was bustling, a 50/50 drawing, and awards were given out to the winning hot rod and motorcycle.

Much to the delight of the guys…there were LOTS of pretty ladies prancing around, and, we DID corner one for a nice photo shoot…thanks CHLOE!!!

Here’s to many more years for Harry and Deb…they’ve done wonders with the place. OSB will always try our best to keep the area riders informed…H&D and OSB….a perfect combination for FUN!!! Hey, that’s what it’s all about…right…?

49 Panhead by Hazardous Cycles

I got this bike from Mississippi as a basket case.

Took the frame and cut, raked the neck. Wanted to build an old school chopper. Its the original wish bone frame and original 49 motor, belly numbers match..

re-built the motor from crank up, mild cams, has 10:1 wisco pistons.heads have been gone thru as well

..powered by a joe hunt mag..the trans is a 53 and I put in Andrews gears close ratio

..went with a Bdl belt drive..did some fab work to mount the oil tank and rear fender, like the clean look on how it almost floats when ur looking at it from the side

..i love the sound of the old school bikes, just nothing better when they are rolling down the road to now where land…

WAYNE  CARPENTER’S Panhead by Miserable George

I shot this one-of-a-kind Panhead chopper back in 1999 at beautiful Ballard Park in Melbourne, Fl.

It was built by Wayne Carpenter, of Southern V-Twin, in Melbourne, Fl. Sorry, but, I don’t have the specs, but as you can see, the paint, and all the work is absolutely flawless.

I have no idea where this machine is today, but, you can call Wayne, at Southern V-Twin…321-255-1600. He built an engine for me several years ago, and, it was perfect!!!

Cool Old Pan by ValGal “What year is this?”

ValGal saw this beautiful old pan in a parking lot recently and grabbed these shots.

For those of you (like me) who bitch about the studio shots and the factory customs, you are gonna love this one. They can have all the shiny crap that they want. This is my dream bike.

Anyway, enjoy and remember that no matter how much somebody rubs a shiny new bike, Ain’t no genie gonna pop out!

Antique Motorcycle Club of America by Miserable George

Several weeks ago, we got a call from Jim Kuhman, from the Sunshine Chapter of AMCA, inviting OSB to a gathering they were having in Grant, FL. at the Grant Station on U.S.#1. It turned out to be a very pleasant, and, informative day, offering opportunities to photograph many REAL old school bikes…several of which will be featured in OSB. After lunch at Grant Station, we motored south to Earl’s Hide-away, a popular gathering spot for bikers on the Indian River in Sebastian, just off U.S.#1. There, I stumbled on an old school Flattie I’ve been searching out for over a year!!
