Biketoberfest with Twisted Minds at Cacklebery Campground by Valgal

This Biketoberfest has been the BEST I have ever attended… In a melancholy way I had the time of my life with my friends… Always the ones missing in my thoughts… But I have been adopted by FOUR young men that I now consider family… My Brothers from the band Twisted Minds, Inc. They somehow have been able to fill a hole in my heart I never thought would ever get full again, YET here they are, Jason, Chris, Rags and of course Jasper… You guys mean more to me than you will EVER KNOW… You constantly show your love for music and friends and family with every moment you are on stage. I will be up y’all’s ass on my birthday so just plan something fun for that fateful day and let’s make good memories… I love you TMI and their Queens with all my heart…. Here are some pictures of that fun night… ENJOY!

Cacklebery…and…Cabbage Patch by Miserable George

OK, ValGal asked me to come up to Cacklebery on Friday of Biketoberfest to kind of ”back her up”, as it were…!!! I couldn’t stay very long, because I wanted to cover the Sons of Speed Vintage MC Race at New Smyrna Speedway, just down the road. I hooked up with Jackman, and we crossed over to the Cabbage Patch for some chow and to have a look around over there, till it was time to head for the speedway. Weather was kind of “iffy”, with occasional “drippies”, but, we persevered.  Biketoberfest was fast coming to an end for this old boy!!! Not as energetic as I used to be!!! But, we had fun…that’s what counts. See ya around!!!

WMC Melbourne…Annual Biker Rodeo by Miserable George

May 18, 20019, saw the MOB in Melbourne gearing up for the 5th. Annual Biker Rodeo, to benefit  The Haven House for Children in Melbourne. Action began at about 4PM with the SCHD All-American Band. Yeah, it was HOT, and the love bugs didn’t make things any easier to swallow. BUT, that chicken and dumplings and all the other tasty food, WAS very easy to swallow!! Thanks to Sandra, and all the other ladies who came through with some GOOD chow!!!(As always). Plenty of cold ones were served up by the pretty, little bar- maids, Gena inside, and Annie outside…yeah, she was the “clown” with orange hair!!! There was a 50/50, and door prizes as well. The rodeo consisted of a slow race, plank ride, barrel roll, and the ever popular weenie bite. NOPE, I never did get the winners’ names!!! Call the clubhouse…I’m sure someone there has the names. As the mosquitoes began to get nasty, this old boy headed for home.

Good times…again…at the MOB in Melbourne…!!!

Hey, remember our troops, and, stand up for your country…!

The MOB-For the Kids by Miserable George

Saturday, Dec. 15th., started out rainy and miserable, but, as the day progressed, the weather DID improve somewhat to the point of…”no rain”…!!

ValGal and I met up at the MOB’s clubhouse in Melbourne, where the live band “Cowboyz N Alianz” was already jammin’, and the aroma of fresh food wafted out of the clubhouse, mixed with the giggles of the many pretty babes trotting around the yard…hey, party ingredients , if you ask me!!!!Not to mention the lovely GINA, manning the inside bar. “Animal” had a hand in cooking today…his special brand of potatoes were sensational!!! Lots of sweet goodies too…if…yer into that!!! I’m NOT!!!

This event was staged to acquire toys for the kids of downed Brothers, as well as other local little ones in the area, and by the looks of the pile on the sign-in table, it was a success!!

As always, we wanna thank all the WMC Bros and Sisters who helped to make our day an enjoyable one.

Remember our vets, and, stand up for your country!!!

GOD Bless America!!!!

WARM-FULL-SAFE by Miserable George

……..National Veterans Homeless Support…protecting and aiding our Vets….

The weather for the 9th. Annual Warm-Full-Safe Run, could not have been better, helping to get over 200 riders on the road to aid our Veterans!! I caught up with a large group of the riders out at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and I believe the scenery out there alone, was enough to really get them “spirited” for the ride ahead.  I returned home for a quick bite to eat, then on up to Post #1, just north of Titusville, on US#1, to capture the ending of the run.

I understand there was a minor mishap on the road, but, I was unable to get any details…hoping everyone was OK. The aroma of food cooking, plus the sounds of the Spanks Band, greeted me as I arrived, a witness to a huge throng of brothers and sisters…there to help the Homeless Vets, and help they did to the tune of over $10,000…well done folks!!! Door prizes, a raffle, and the 50/50 drawing, kind of rounded out the day. A big THANKS to all who contributed…you will not be forgotten!! GOD BLESS our Vets…and hey…Stand up for your country…

Most of us will never experience what Brian Tafoya is experiencing right now….waiting for a new heart…!

Harry and Debbie and the crew at H&D Roadhouse, pulled out all the stops by providing a venue for this huge benefit party to help Brian with all the expenses connected with with this up-coming operation.

There were many door prizes to bid on, a 50/50, non-stop music(live) all day, food and drink, AND…babes…man, I tell ya…if only I were 30 years younger..!!

Bike Day at the TIKI American Legion Post 359 by Miserable George

This was my first visit to Post 359 since their back deck re-build, and, I tell ya, I was amazed!!! The completed project now features about double the floor space, stage, and, 2 (count ‘em) 2 serving bars, plus a ramp for wheelchair access!! Everything built from weather-proof material, so, it will last. PLUS…in the works…additional parking space!!

Folks, this organization went out of their way to make a fabulous party venue…all for YOU!!! AND YES, there were several large fans to help with cooling during these hot spells we’ve been suffering through!!

As usual, the cooks did a fabulous job, especially with those famous half-pound burgers…they truly are the best!!

The Spanks Band had the ladies hopping around out there, despite the over powering heat, and the Jello-shot girl did her job well!!!

Also present was Mack, the former FOX 35 Weather Baby…8 months old now, and almost ready to walk!!

Folks, if you’re looking for a fantastic party place, American Legion Post 359 on U.S.#1, just north of Port St. John is your spot!!

Bike Day is always the 1st. Saturday of the month…good food, good music, babes, drinks, the works…! We’ll be lookin’ for ya.

Ride safe, and, stand up for your country…

WMC-The MOB- Kids’ Benefit by Miserable George

Well, the Weatherman and the 4th. Annual Benefit for the Haven House For Children simply could not strike up a deal, as rain dominated the entire day, shutting down the Biker Games and the Bike Show. The PARTY however…DID go on…(as parties do!!)

A nice crowd gathered at the WMC south (the MOB)

clubhouse where a very tasty spread of food was available, as well as all the cold ones you wanted, plus a live band…Space Coast HD All-American Band, AND DJ…Chuckles..!

Did I mention food…ah yes, Sandra’s legendary chicken & dumplings, plus fried chicken, veggies, cake & cookies, salad…you name it!!!! There were door prizes, a silent auction, and of course, a 50/50. Too bad the competitive events didn’t happen, because I noticed some nice handmade trophies.

Despite the nasty weather, the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves, I know, I did!!! Ran into 3 old friends whom I hadn’t seen for quite a spell. Big THANKS to WMC(MOB) for doing their best, as they always do..! Mr. Weatherman….maybe NEXT time…OK…?

Hey, ride safe, and stand up for your country…
