Thoughts from Prison by Rev Al Paquette

As I write this Sharon and I are in Pennsylvania going into the prisons. So far we have been in 4 in the past four days, with one more tomorrow. It has been a whirlwind trip. We didn’t even bring the ‘Doin Time’ bike up.

Tonight we were in the Muncy women’s prison that holds around 1500 inmates.  I have been preaching the message all week. Jesus is the way,the truth, and the life. I’ve been telling the inmates to not live their lives unproductive. Don’t waste your life being wasted. All I do is tell them that I stay productive and in turn I am Blessed.

This is the ninth year of coming into Pa for prison ministry. Most of the prisons know us and we get right in. Sunday, our first prison was a little setback because Sharon failed a swab test.

They said she tested positive for synthetic marijuana.

If you know Sharon at all,you know that’s further from the truth than anything.  She sat in the parking lot for 3 hours until I got finished.

We could have complained, got mad, pitched a fit, but if we had, all prisons would have banned us. I did what I came here for and all the rest has been smooth.

Be productive and don’t just hang in there, press on.

Ride of the Month – Taylor Creek Rd.

This is one of our favorite rides.

You can do this one from north to south or any way you like.

Our map starts on I95 and SR50 and ends on i95 and SR520.

We personally like to go up SR3 (Courtenay Pkwy) through the space center and out SR405 to SR50.

If you are south, you can come in on Deer park/Nova Rd, folks up north can get it off of SR46 and come in through Christmas.

I suppose most of you know that, but for those who don’t, I really think you will like this one. While you’re on 520 at the St John’s River you have to make the stop at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp. Great food, great folks, live bands (sometimes) and a beautiful view. Did I mention lots of bike parking and a real “biker friendly” atmosphere? Hope to see you there.

Bare Bone Rides Custom 1979 Honda CB750 Cafe Racer Build (Fired-up and Running)

The boyz at BBR (Bare Bone Rides, Inc.) finished this build back in November of 2011.

It started off as a CB750 that we picked-up at an Insurance Auction. Solid motor and no frame damage – just needed a new tank and new handle bars … a perfect platform for a custom Cafe Racer style build!

Check out more photos, some history and the trophy this bike took at a recent show at    or on our facebook page at  .

Thanks for looking folks – we definitely appreciate your time … and your feedback! The current owner purchased her from us via ebay … and he is local so we see this bike a lot in the neighborhood – he still can’t wipe that grin off his face every time we see him!!!

Nostalgia at the Redfish Inn 2004 Flashback by Miserable George

This place has had many names down through the years,

and back in 2004, it was the Redfish Inn, and, a very popular watering hole on U.S.#1 in Cocoa, Fl, near the flea market. It seems that there was always something interesting going on…from spaghetti wrestling, to a mini-concert by Big Mike Griffin, and TV’s “good ol’ boy”…Mickey Jones.

The weather was as variable as the entertainment…beautiful for awhile, then, a whopper blowing in off the Space Center!! But, one thing you could always count on, was a banner crowd, to partake of the entertainment, the pretty girls, and the good food!!

The place still boasts all these things today, but, with a different name…”The Oyster Bar”…on U.S.#1, just north of Cocoa, Fl. Tell ‘em Old School Biker” sent ya…OK?
